Welcome to Day 1 of the NeurochainAI No-Code Workshop! Today, we’ll cover the foundational steps to prepare for creating your own AI-powered Telegram bot using N8N and NeurochainAI’s inference capabilities.

- What a VPS is and why it’s important
- How to choose the best hosting option for your needs
- How to generate the required API keys for NeurochainAI and Telegram

What is a VPS?
A Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a virtual machine hosted by a provider. Think of it as a computer that’s always online, where you can run applications like N8N to automate workflows.
Why use a VPS?
- Cost-Effective: Unlike cloud-hosted solutions, a VPS has fixed costs and no execution limits
- Full Control: Customize your environment to fit your project’s needs
- Scalable: Handle multiple workflows and processes without interruptions
Recommended VPS: DigitalOcean
For this workshop, we recommend using DigitalOcean, which offers a one-click deployment option for N8N. It’s fast, simple, and reliable.
Other VPS Options: While DigitalOcean is our recommendation, you can use alternatives like Hetzner, Hostinger, or Railway, as long as they meet these minimum requirements:
- 1 GB RAM or higher
- 1 vCPU or higher
- 20 GB SSD storage or more
Note: Tomorrow’s session will include detailed instructions for setting up your VPS and installing N8N.
What is N8N?
N8N is a powerful no-code automation platform that allows you to connect virtually any app or API and automate workflows without writing a single line of code.
With N8N, you can:
- Integrate services like Google Sheets, Slack, Mailchimp, and APIs from platforms like NeurochainAI
- Automate complex tasks, such as syncing data between apps, processing input from webhooks, or generating insights with AI
- Build workflows visually, using a drag-and-drop interface, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced developers
For example:
- Automate lead generation by connecting Typeform to a CRM system
- Use an API like NeurochainAI to process data and store results in a database
- Schedule notifications across multiple platforms using Google Calendar and Slack
N8N empowers users to create highly customized workflows, from simple task automations to complex multi-step integrations, all without coding.
Generating Your API Keys
To integrate Telegram and NeurochainAI with N8N, you’ll need two API keys:
NeurochainAI API Key
- Log in to Your NeurochainAI Account:
Visit the NeurochainAI Dashboard and sign in. - Navigate to the “Inference As a Service” Section:
Choose the inference model you want to use:- RestAPI for text processing.
- Flux for AI-powered image generation.
- Generate Your API Key:
Click Generate Key, copy it, and store it securely. This key allows N8N to connect to NeurochainAI’s inference services.
Telegram Bot Token
- Start a Conversation with BotFather on Telegram:
Open Telegram, search for BotFather, and start a chat. - Create a New Bot:
- Type /newbot and follow the prompts to name your bot and set a username (e.g., MyAI_Bot).
- Get Your Bot Token:
BotFather will provide you with a unique token. Copy and save it securely. You’ll need this to connect your Telegram bot to N8N.
